Original Antique Civil War Period Model 1858 Ortiz Pin Fire 6 Shot Revolver 11mm (about .44 Caliber).ย steel frame Spanish Antique Pistol Certified.ย In Semi-Working Condition Civil War period. There are no numbers, so it is impossible to accurately date this one made 1858-1862. It is a deluxe version with checkered wood grips and engraved steel frame. This gun’s spring is loose, and it does work and does fire and cock if you push the trigger forward manually. the grips are slightly worn but nice AND THEY HAVE NOTCHES CARVED INTO THEM (an old sign of kills for military and gunfighters).ย ย Has some very deep, rich surface patina. This is like Lefaucheux but is really a Spanish Ortiz Eibar most of these were imported to the Confederate States of America (see photos).ย Nice and cocks and fires when you push the trigger forward!
