Original WWII U.S. Soldier’s Invasion Armband From Africa/Italy Campaign (Early Version) Certified. Excellent condition white cotton 48 Star American Flag Invasion Armband. The flag is constructed of cotton and measures approximately 3.5 x 5 inches. The arm band is constructed of off-white cotton and measures approximately 4 x 17 inches. This style armband was typically issued to infantry soldiers most notably for the invasion of North Africa and later Italy. It is the early style later replaced with the more common versions that were screened onto oil cloth.  A fantastic piece of WWII U.S. History.  Outstanding WWII U.S. Invasion Armband an  Excellent Example some slight foxing and storage wear.
