Original WWII German ARMY (HEER) M40 SINGLE DECAL Battle Damaged RELIC HELMET. (Stahlhelm M40)  Certified. The stamped, sheet steel construction helmet retains a  portion of its original paint showing some  wear and field usage and pitting. Eagle decal is about 59% complete.  All three liner retaining rivets gone and both inserted ventilation bushings are intact. A few holes from pitting and battle damage. The liner is gone. The interior reverse neck guard apron is lot number is no longer readable.  and the interior left side apron is stamped where the manufacturers code and size is stamped is not readable I would estimate the  size as 66 (nice big size).  Shows the expected age, wear and use.  In relic condition .
