Original RARE German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) NSRKB VETERAN’S ORGANIZATION FLAG. (Fahne) Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. The DRKB, “Deutscher Reichs-Krieger-Bund” (German National-veterans’-association), was formed during WWI, and based on the DKB, “Deutscher Krieger-Bund,” originally formed in the 1870s. By 1936 it had incorporated most of the varied veterans’ associations into it, and was itself re-named the NS-RKB, “Nationalsozialistische Reichskriegerbund” (National-socialist State-veterans’-organization), in 1938.  A 48″/48″, (we placed a helmet on the flag for size comparison) double sided, printed coarse cotton NS-RKB flag that features a red background to a black Iron Cross, edged in white, with, to its center, a double black bordered white disk within which is a black mobile swastika. The original black band that would be to the left side has been removed, leaving a frayed edge. The flag exhibits light soiling and some mothing.  Ges Gesch marked.  It is Overall a very collectible flag with lots of history Nice period used flag captured by a U.S. Veteran   and brought home as a war trophy.
