Original Civil War Period Pin fire .44 Caliber steel frame  Double Barrel  Antique Pistol Certified. Civil War Period .44 caliber Pistol. In Working  condition with duel independent drop triggers Civil War period model pistol .   It is a standard  version with plane wood grips and steel frame.  This gun’s spring is tight and it does work and does fire and cock on both  of the two triggers and hammers.  It has a “drop trigger” system. Excellent strong spring!    the grips are slightly worn but nice.   has some very mild surface pitting. The gun  is about .44 caliber. It does have a small hole on one side of the barrel where someone mounted it to a display board at one time but the other side displays perfect (see photos) .  A real double barrel HAND CANNON!    Many European weapons were exported to the US for sale before and during the Civil War. A classic Civil War period pistol and A choice functioning display gun.  A favorite of both Confederate and Union soldiers during the Civil War.
