A Collection Of 8 Different Original WWII German Kriegsmarine (Navy) Breast/Cap  Eagles Certified. The Kriegsmarine adopted slightly modified version of the NSDAP’s, Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, (National Socialist German Worker’s Party), national eagle for wear on the front of the headgear and the right breast of the uniform on March 24TH 1934. The Kriegsmarine’s version of the national eagle was identical to the army version except for the coloration with the army utilizing silver, white and grey eagles while the Kriegsmarine utilized golden yellow eagles. Beginning in 1935 Kriegsmarine land based personnel, primarily Coastal Artillery units, were issued field-grey uniforms that followed the fundamental designs of the army uniforms with minor variations. The breast eagles for the field-grey uniforms was basically the same as the standard breast eagles but were worked on different colored backgrounds. The early produced breast eagles were on a dark blue/green base while later production models were on a field-grey base. A Very NICE collection of 8 different variations of cap and breast eagles from both regular   Navy and Navy Coast Artillery units. All are in different stages of wear (see photos) most are uniform removed. All are in good condition.   Nice examples  with expected used U.S. Veteran bring-back condition.   Scarce to see all these variations. Gettysburg Museum Certified (COA) provided.
