The relics contained in this box are an authentic bullet and casing, plus a piece of Paratrooper’s camouflage parachute piece from St. Marie Du Mont Normandy France 101st Airborne area D-Day June 6, 1944. This is the area the famous “Band Of Brothers” and the 101st Airborne Fought. The bullets and shell case was found in the fields around St. Marie Du Mont (the objective of the 506 PIR on D-Day. The Parachute piece is an authentic relic that was used on D-Day and was also recovered in St. Marie Du Mont, Normandy. These relics are 100% authentic from this important historic location. This display comes matted and framed in a Riker display.
