This was a U.S. Veteran souvenir piece of shot down aircraft skin with a hand painted meatball flag insignia and Kanji writing. It measuses about 11″/13″ . An approximately 22cm diameter red “Himaru” is sewn to the center of the white/gray field. A rare piece of WWII history. We do not know exactly what this was for, most likely painted after it was shot down as a souvenir, very interesting piece of history.
