Original WWII Japanese Shot Down Aircraft Skin With Painted NATIONAL FLAG And Kanji Certified. This was a U.S. Veteran souvenir piece of shot down aircraft skin with a hand painted meatball flag insignia and Kanji writing. It measuses about 11″/13″ . An approximately 22cm diameter red “Himaru” is sewn to the center of the  white/gray  field. Shows the expected age and use. 100% Guaranteed to be authentic and is certified by The Gettysburg Museum Of History and comes with our Museum COA (certificate of authenticity). A rare piece of WWII history. We do not know exactly what this was for, most likely painted after it was shot down as a souvenir, very interesting piece of history.
