Nuremberg Desk Eagle on  Base. Excellent condition, all original with most of the original silver wash.  This is a good sized desk award eagle with the inscription of the names of the winner of a yearly shooting competition. Each competition the eagle is awarded to the new winner until the next competition. Measures 9 inches tall. A very rare variant eagle. Very fine condition. Nuremburg desk eagles were often given as prizes for competitions held at the Nuremberg rallies, and also as presentations to members of the political elite.  Very fine condition.
