Original WWII  German Nazi Party TROPHY FLAG WIH VETERAN INCRIPTION  Certified. A standard style large Cloth   banner   type flag. Utilized by pretty much by all the organization of the Third Reich in one form or another. The swastika, (a Sanskrit word meaning “well being”), is an ancient symbol that was utilized in numerous diverse cultures and signified both the cycle of life and the sun. The swastika was also a Nordic rune and the pagan Germanic symbol for Thor, God of Adventurers.   In good condition DOUBLE sided  13″/16″! standard cotton bunting style material with separate sewn white disk and screened swastika.  The U.S. Veteran who captured wrote a very interesting inscription! “Rhine Crossing March 1944 C Battery 156 FA (Field Artillery) Forward Observers” the 156 Field Artillery was attached to the 44th Division.  A fantastic piece of WWII history .
