Very Nice Original Non-Excavated Civil War U.S. Belt Plate (Buckle).  Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. A stamped brass lead filled model 1863 U.S. belt plate.   This plate has a nice combat used look, (see photos).  This plate would have most likely come home with a solider and it is NOT excavated from a battle (NOT dug from the ground). 100% authentic. All of the three hooks are present, and it looks great, in used condition.
