Original WWII Japanese NATIONAL FLAG WITH SEA BEE KANJI And Brought Home By A U.S. Veteran Certified. Most Japanese troops during the second world war carried a personal flag. They had practical as well as patriotic uses, such as marking positions to keep them safe from friendly aircraft while advancing. One piece example is 28cm x 38cm. An approximately 12cm diameter red โ€œHimaruโ€ is sewn to the center of the flagโ€™s white field. Handwritten, in black, around the Himaru are numerous kanji characters.  The Kanji might be a โ€œSea Beeโ€ flag meaning it was added to sell to soldiers.  A very interesting flag. Shows the expected age and use. (see photos).  in good  condition and  itโ€™s very displayable and could be framed and it would look nice. 100% Guaranteed to be authentic and is certified by The Gettysburg Museum Of History and comes with our Museum COA (certificate of authenticity).
