Original WWII German Nazi Party Podium Flag Certified. A standard style Cloth banner (Podium Style) type flag. Utilized by pretty much by all the organization of the Third Reich in one form or another. The swastika, (a Sanskrit word meaning “well-being”), is an ancient symbol that was utilized in numerous diverse cultures and signified both the cycle of life and the sun. The swastika was also a Nordic rune and the pagan Germanic symbol for Thor, God of Adventurers.   In fair condition single sided 30″/41″!!! standard cotton bunting style material with separate sewn white disk and screened swastika. It has a white rayon stripe around the edge and has high quality white fringe material at the bottom. IT HAS VERY UNUSUAL METAL BALLS sewn into the bottom to keep it from flapping in the wind (see photo). We placed a helmet on the flag for size reference.  (see photos). A fantastic piece of WWII history.  good condition with storage wear staining a few small holes no fading (see photos) some staining. This flag is A good quality version and one of the better sizes for the most   discriminating and cultivated collector.  it   Overall a very collectible flag with lots of history.
