Large Bronze Luftwaffe Wall Eagle. Excellent condition. Luftwaffe German wall eagle cast in Bronze. Very high-quality piece and has a 7.5-inch wingspan and it 6.5 inches in height. Nice pre-war Luftwaffe wall plaque from the 1930’s. In the form of a pilot’s badge.  Very fine condition.  This piece is VERY HEAVY and solid. Wall eagles were often given as prizes for competitions held at the rallies, and also as presentations to members of the political elite.  This is the early style Luftwaffe eagle and would date from about the late 1930’s.  This is a “one looker” as we say!
