Original German NSDAP (NAZI PARTY) SA (Brown Shirts) 1933 TRIER “IRON SHIRT” BADGE. (Triertag Abzeichen) Certified. A stamped alloy badge with a bronze wash in the form of a Maltese cross. To its circular center is the outline of an “Iron Shirt,” which is a medieval motif from Trier, which was originally a Roman colonial city. “Trier” and “1933” are embossed to the lower edges of this central disk. A vertical pin-back device is crimped to a circular plate to its reverse., nice large high relief badge, very light wear.   Scarce. Nice example showing the expected minor age and wear overall good   condition.  One of the classic desirable collector’s items   from the third Reich in used but in good but used condition.
