Very Historic Original 1930’s Desk Clock From The Reichschancellory in Berchtesgaden Certified By The Gettysburg Museum Of History. Hans Lammers Personal Desk Clock from Berchtesgaden Office. This clock is a “Junghans” desk clock and was in Reichsminister Hans Lammers study in the Reichschancellory in Berchtesgaden / Stangass. It comes from the estate of his secretary Willi Meerwald who worked in the Reichschancellory until April 29th 1945. It comes with copies of photographs of Meerwald, Hitler, Lammers etc in front of the building. There is also one Photo where Lammers is sitting in his office and on his desk the clock can be seen. Excellent provenance! Works perfectly, interior is dated 6/24/37. This is exactly the date when the Berchtesgaden Reichschancellery was finished and the housewarming was in July 1937. After checking with the manufacturer, this piece was not commercially offered, meaning it was custom made, either for Lammers himself, or the interior designer at the Chancellery.
